Who may use Delego

You must be at least 18 years old to use Delego. Delego is intended for professional, business, software development, and technical workflow use, including use by companies, sole proprietors, contractors, independent developers, and individual professionals.

If you use Delego as a consumer and mandatory consumer protection rules apply to you, nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived. Where you use Delego on behalf of a business or organization, you are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with that organization's rules and applicable law.

What Delego does

Delego connects Linear Agent Session events with a local runner. In a typical flow, Linear sends a webhook to the Delego relay, Delego creates a job, a paired runner claims the job, the runner prepares a local git worktree, invokes the executor you selected, and reports progress, completion, failure, commit, and pull request metadata back through Delego and Linear.

The hosted relay coordinates work and stores operational metadata. It is not the environment where code execution happens. Code execution, repository access, model traffic, git operations, and optional pull request publishing happen through the runner and the tools configured on your machine.

Technical requirements

To use the hosted Delego dashboard, you need a device with an internet connection, a current web browser, cookies and JavaScript enabled, and an email address or supported authentication method.

To run jobs, you are responsible for preparing the runner environment. Current runner requirements include Node.js 20 or newer, git, a reachable Delego relay URL, a paired runner bearer, and at least one supported executor such as Codex or Claude Code. GitHub CLI is required if you enable automatic pull request publishing. Your Linear workspace, OAuth application, labels, repository mappings, local shell, credentials, network access, and executor installations must be configured correctly.

Delego does not provide a mobile application. Any reference to the service in these Terms refers to the web service, APIs, documentation, and runner package.

Account and security

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting your sign-in methods, securing your email account, protecting runner credentials, and keeping access to your local machine, Linear workspace, GitHub account, Codex or Claude account, and other customer-controlled tools secure.

Runner pairing tokens are single-use and time-limited. Runner bearer credentials are returned to the runner once and are stored locally by the runner. If you believe a runner credential, account, integration, or local machine has been compromised, you should rotate or remove the runner, revoke affected third-party credentials, and contact us if you need help with Delego-side account access.

Acceptable use

You must not use Delego to:

  • violate applicable law or third-party rights;
  • create, deploy, or support malware, credential theft, phishing, unauthorized surveillance, or unauthorized access to systems;
  • interfere with Delego, bypass security controls, scrape, overload, or reverse engineer the hosted service except where mandatory law permits;
  • submit content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, discriminatory, infringing, or otherwise abusive;
  • send secrets, access tokens, private keys, regulated data, or highly sensitive personal data to Delego unless strictly necessary and lawful for your use case;
  • use Delego in a way that violates the terms of Linear, GitHub, OpenAI, Anthropic, Vercel, Supabase, PostHog, Sentry, ZeptoMail, Stripe, or any other third-party service you use with Delego.

We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe use of Delego creates a security risk, legal risk, operational risk, or breach of these Terms.

Customer-controlled runner and tools

The runner runs on infrastructure controlled by you. It can access the files, repositories, environment variables, network resources, shell commands, local credentials, git configuration, GitHub CLI session, Codex session, Claude Code session, and other tools available in that environment. You decide where to run the runner, which executors it supports, which repositories it can reach, and whether automatic branch push or pull request creation is enabled.

You are responsible for the consequences of runner configuration and execution, including local file changes, commits, pushes, pull requests, model-provider usage, provider rate limits, internal network access, credential exposure, and any actions performed by customer-controlled tools. Delego does not guarantee that an executor will behave safely, correctly, or consistently.

Generated code and review obligation

Delego coordinates AI-assisted development workflows, but it does not verify that generated code, commands, pull requests, or explanations are correct, secure, complete, lawful, or suitable for your project. Outputs may contain bugs, security vulnerabilities, licensing issues, broken assumptions, or destructive instructions.

You must review, test, and approve all changes before merging, deploying, shipping, relying on, or distributing them. You remain responsible for your repositories, products, compliance, development process, release process, backups, and production systems.

Third-party services

Delego depends on third-party services to provide, secure, monitor, and improve the service. Current and expected providers include Vercel for hosting, Supabase for authentication, database, row-level security, and realtime features, Linear for issue and Agent Session integration, GitHub for repository and pull request metadata when you configure publishing, PostHog for EU-hosted analytics, replay, and feature flags, Sentry for error and performance monitoring, ZeptoMail for transactional email, and Stripe if paid billing is introduced in the future.

Codex, Claude Code, OpenAI, Anthropic, local git, GitHub CLI, Linear, GitHub, and similar tools are customer-controlled in the runner flow. Their services, accounts, models, pricing, retention, policies, terms, outages, and outputs are outside our control. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with their terms and settings.

We are not responsible for interruptions, data loss, degraded performance, rejected API calls, authentication failures, policy changes, rate limits, billing, suspensions, or other issues caused by third-party services or customer-controlled tools.

Free service and future paid plans

Delego is currently provided free of charge. Some parts of the service may be experimental, beta, preview, or otherwise evolving. Free access may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued, subject to mandatory law.

We may introduce paid subscriptions or usage-based plans in the future. We will not charge you unless you choose a paid plan or otherwise accept paid terms. Before paid billing starts, the applicable price, billing period, renewal rules, payment provider, tax treatment, cancellation process, and any refund rules will be made available in the service or in updated terms.

Support and complaints

Support is provided by email on a best-effort basis at hello@getdelego.app. We do not currently commit to support hours, response times, resolution times, or service credits.

If you report a problem or complaint, please include your account email address, a description of the issue, relevant timestamps, affected runner or job identifiers, and your preferred resolution. We may ask for additional information if it is needed to understand or reproduce the issue.

Availability and changes to the service

Delego is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not provide an uptime SLA. The service may be unavailable, delayed, degraded, or interrupted because of maintenance, deployments, bugs, capacity limits, security incidents, third-party outages, internet failures, force majeure events, or issues in your account, browser, network, local runner, or customer-controlled tools.

We may add, change, suspend, or remove features. We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption, but we do not guarantee that any free feature, beta feature, integration, API behavior, runner behavior, or third-party integration will remain available indefinitely.

Intellectual property and runner license

Delego, the hosted service, dashboard, relay software, documentation, design, trademarks, and runner package are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Delego to you.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the hosted service and to download, install, and run the unmodified@delegoapp/runnerpackage solely for your own use with Delego.

The runner package is publicly downloadable but is not open source. Except where mandatory law permits, you may not copy, modify, adapt, create derivative works from, distribute, sublicense, sell, host, make available as a competing service, remove proprietary notices from, or reverse engineer Delego or the runner package.

Customer content

You retain ownership of your customer content. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, display, store, secure, monitor, and otherwise use customer content as needed to provide, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve Delego, to comply with law, and to enforce these Terms.

You represent that you have the rights and lawful basis needed to submit customer content to Delego and to allow processing by Delego and the third-party services used with Delego. You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of customer content and for any personal data, confidential information, or third-party material included in it.

Privacy and data processing

Personal data is processed as described in our Privacy Policy and cookies and similar technologies are described in our Cookie Policy.

For account management, service operation, security, analytics, monitoring, and administration, we may act as a data controller. Where you use Delego to process personal data of other people in Linear issues, prompts, repositories, runner output, or job metadata, you are responsible for having a lawful basis for that processing and we may act as your processor for the relay operation. A data processing agreement is available on request by emailing hello@getdelego.app.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Delego at any time. If account deletion is available in the dashboard, you may request deletion there. You may also contact us to request deletion or assistance with access termination.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access immediately if we reasonably believe that you breached these Terms, created security or legal risk, used Delego abusively, provided false information, interfered with the service, violated third-party rights, or used Delego in a way that may harm us, other users, third-party services, or the public.

After termination, your right to use Delego and the runner ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, customer content licenses needed for wind-down, privacy, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law, and dispute provisions, will continue to apply.

Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Delego is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We do not warrant that Delego will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, compatible with your tools, fit for a particular purpose, or capable of producing correct, safe, lawful, or useful outputs.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, rights, or remedies that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunity, loss of goodwill, loss of data, repository damage, production incidents, security incidents caused by customer-controlled tools, third-party service failures, model provider issues, or costs of substitute services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for claims arising out of or relating to Delego is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Delego in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability or EUR 100. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when Delego changes, when providers or integrations change, when paid plans are introduced, or when legal or operational requirements change. For material changes, we will provide notice in the application, by email, or by another reasonable method at least 14 days before the changes take effect, unless a shorter period is needed for legal, security, or operational reasons.

If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using Delego before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms, subject to mandatory law.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Polish law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply. The parties will first try to resolve disputes amicably.

For business users, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms will be resolved by the common court with jurisdiction over the service provider's registered office. If you use Delego as a consumer and mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim before another competent court or authority, those mandatory rights remain unaffected.
